Synopsis:
CHICK-A-DUCK is an unusual animal. She’s a chicken. Except when she sneezes. Then POP! She turns into a Duck. When she sneezes again, POP! She turns back. Which wouldn’t be a huge problem, but her best friend is DUSTY BUNNY. A brown bunny surrounded by a cloud of dust. The
two friends go everywhere together, including into mud puddles. Together they’re slowly discovering everything that life in the barnyard has to o
er. It’s just that there’s so much to learn and so many friends to learn from.
Friends like the older animals: HOLLY COW, SHIRE HORSE, SHETLAND SHEEP. Friends like the younger GOTTI PIG and the very young and very yappy JACK THE DOG. The older animals know the world a little better than preschool-aged Chick-a-Duck and Dusty Bunny, but their warnings
often fall on deaf ears. It’s not that Chick-a-Duck and Dusty Bunny ignore them, it’s more that their warnings don’t mean anything until it’s too late. They’re not looking for mischief, these things sometimes just happen. In cartoons as much as life. Exploring the world is the chief driver of preschoolers and the world of Chick-a-Duck is happy to show just what that can look like. And that’s really what this is about: curiosity, discovery, kindness, patience, and optimism.
